everyone. if you have eyes that can look up and lungs that can breathe, zoen is for you. no labels. no categories.

02 · the practice

a few minutes is enough.

the body remembers six breaths per minute. the t breathes with you. that is the whole practice.

01choose your zoen. friend, trainer, or coach. you do not have to choose forever. just for today.
02pick what to build. the breath. silence. looking up. listening. start with one. add the rest later.
03three minutes is enough. some days are ten. some are twenty. the body knows what it can do today.
04come back tomorrow. the streak is not a leash. it is a record of all the times you remembered. the streak and the numbers disappear with time. it is your own system.

a vertical line is the spine. a horizontal line is the breath. where they cross is you.

the spine: vertical. physical dimension. the part of you that stands.
the breath: horizontal. the heart. The lungs expanding and contracting.
the threshold: the intersection. the moment inside meets outside.
the practice: looking at it slows you down. without telling you to.

i built zoen because i needed somewhere to put this feeling. every time i look up, i see the spectrum inside the light. Yes I have astigmatism an eye condition..... anyways i stopped trying to explain it and started photographing it instead.
